Website Visitors

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use this website.

The Service

When you register for a favourites.io account(the “Service”), we ask you for your email address. When look for this information so that we can send you a notification letting you know that your Twitter Likes (or Bookmarks) have been imported into favourites.io.

Log in / Sign up

The billing details you provide are processed and stored by Stripe, which is a trusted, PCI compliant third-party. Your billing details never touch any of our servers. Please see Stripe’s Terms of Service for details.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

  • Twitter Profile Name
  • Your Twitter Likes
  • Your Twitter Bookmarks (if using the Favourites.io Chrome Extension)

The data we collect about you is collected in the following ways:

  • By directly asking you for it, such as during a signup process
  • By automated means, when you log in via Twitter.

Why Is It Being Collected?

We use the information we collect in numerous ways, such as:

  • Ensuring ongoing operation of our Service

  • Understanding and analysing how you use our Service
  • Developing new features and functionality
  • Communicating with you, for customer service, to provide you with updates about
  • The Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes
